ABOUT LUC LAMUDE
THE PATH TO BLACK BELT
Luc Lamude is a dedicated 3rd-degree black belt and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor at Paragon Training Facility in Basildon, Essex. With 20 years of experience, Luc began training BJJ at the age of 14 under Marc Walder, one of the UK’s first black belts, at Becontree Heath Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Dagenham, where he progressed to brown belt. He later trained under Roger Gracie, black belt Nicholas Brooks at Mill Hill BJJ and was awarded his black belt in 2012 by Roger Gracie, under the guidance of Brooks. In 2021, Luc received his 3rd-degree black belt from Brooks, shortly before Brooks’ passing.
Since beginning his teaching career in 2011, Luc has built a reputation for creating a welcoming and supportive environment for students of all ages and experience levels. Alongside coaching, Luc has competed professionally in MMA, holding a 3-1-0 record, and has led seminars in Bremen, Germany, and Ireland.

London Open 2005 – Bronze, Middleweight & Absolute (Blue Belt)
Seni 2004 – Bronze, Middleweight (Blue Belt)
Luc’s depth of experience, competition pedigree, and approachable teaching style make him a respected coach within the UK BJJ community, helping students develop confidence, discipline, and high-level technical skill on the mats.
