Luc Lamude is the founder and full-time instructor who teaches the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes at Lamude BJJ. He has been training BJJ since the age of 14 and has over 20 years experience in the industry.

He first began his training under Marc Walder, who is one of the first three British black belts under Mauricio Gomes at the Becontree Heath Gracie Jiu-Jitsu academy in Dagenham to the grade of brown belt.

Later on in Luc’s career, he continued his training as a brown belt with Roger Gracie black belt, Nicholas Brooks of Mill Hill BJJ. In 2011, Luc opened his own academy and has been teaching various levels of BJJ to individuals ever since.

Luc was awarded the rank of the black belt on the 4th November 2012 by Roger Gracie under the supervision of Nick Brooks. Luc currently is a 3rd degree black belt what was awarded on 4th November 2021 by Nick Brooks shortly before he passed away the following month in December that year. As well as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Luc has competed in professional MMA with a record of 3-1-0 and also has taught seminars in Bremen, Germany, and Ireland.
